Innovative cymbal manufacturer SABIAN recently announced it has just launched a brand new sabian.com. More than just a refresh, it’s a completely redesigned new website, incorporating many of the most recent advances in web technology – like mobile optimization and smooth integration with its very popular social stream.
“This was a huge undertaking,” says SABIAN VP of Marketing Stacey Montgomery-Clark, “but one we felt was long overdue”.
The new website features a redesigned Products section where viewers can search for cymbals by type, as well as by series. In addition to being able to search for cymbals by type, a new filtering system also allows players to quickly hone in on the right cymbal for their needs. It’s the only website from a major cymbal manufacturer that offers this functionality.
The new website features a robust new shopping system, including a Shopatron option designed to create more sales for the brand’s extensive dealer network. Also new – a completely refreshed Artists section with more images and video and a SABIAN Experience area where viewers can watch video of high-profile artist visits to the factory.
“What will not change is our very popular SABIAN Community,” says eMarketing Coordinator Katie Robinson. “We’re keeping the Forum and the Set-up Builder – two of our most popular features – completely unchanged. This should make our very active and engaged community membership happy.”
The new website continues to build on the leadership position SABIAN has achieved in using video technology to showcase the brand’s extensive cymbal offering.
Launched on October 17, the timing intentionally coincided with Players’ Choice, one of the largest and most innovative consumer campaigns the cymbal maker has ever launched. With Players’ Choice, Sabian is giving consumers the chance to select the company’s new product offering for 2012 – all of which they can do at the new Sabian.com.
